Here at All-Fill we are not only focused on delivering the highest quality solutions for customers, we’re proud to support professional and personal development for our team as well.
This extends to the next generation and we were happy to welcome Jake, son of James who is one of our Electrical Design Engineers, to All-Fill for his work experience recently.
Gaining a taster of multiple departments during his week at our facility, he gained a good insight into many aspects of engineering.
Starting out by putting together some drawings on AutoCAD electrical the team here helped him lay out and wire a control panel. Once powered, these circuits were tested to confirm everything had been correctly designed and successfully put together.
Later in the week, Jake was able to spend time with one of our Control Systems Engineers, understanding the software and programming effort that goes into a finished system – working on one of our fully automatic Series 100 systems equipped with fully interlocked guard doors and a container lift system to allow ‘bottom-up’ filling.
Finally, our Mechanical Design team took him through some tutorials on SolidWorks, understanding how much care goes into even the smallest aspect of each custom-built component of our systems.
Our deepest thanks go out to everyone at All-Fill who to the time to share their time with Jake during his week with us, and we wish Jake all the best with his next steps.
